Introduction

The Mycroft project provides a rich collection of search plugins for Mozilla-based browsers (e.g. Netscape 7, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, and Beonex). Plugins are easy to develop, and all Mycroft's plugins have been developed by users.

I found myself wanting to use Sensei's Library from the search bar, so I developed two custom plugins. I submitted them to Mycroft, but it has become increasingly apparent that the delay in getting a plugin added is measured in months (they simply don't have the volunteers to go through them all), so I thought I'd put them up here and offer them to the rest of the Sensei's Library community.

Simply select one of the links below to have the plugin automatically downloaded and added to your browser the way they are installed by Mycroft. If it makes you feel more comfortable, the raw plugin files are also available below. Place them in the search plugins directory within your browser's installation directory; for example, on Firefox for Windows this is typically C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins.

I have tested these plugins on Mozilla Firefox 1.0.4 on one computer only - mine. No warranty is offered, express or implied, nor assertion of fitness for a particular purpose, etc. All I know is they work for me, but you're welcome to drop me a line at my Sensei's Library homepage if you have trouble or want to suggest improvements.

Thanks to Arno Hollosi for his help and for running such a fantastic site. Please don't abuse his generosity by abusing the plugins.
